Hard Rock Hotel
Built in 1929 at the height of prohibition, the Carbon and Carbide Building was designed to resemble a champagne bottle by Chicago architect Daniel Burnham. Black granite, green terra-cotta and gold leaf give the Hard Rock Hotel its signature style as one of the most recognized buildings in Chicago.
With major renovations completed, the Hard Rock Hotel retains its architectural integrity and history while providing guests with world-class amenities and hospitality.
